Meet F. Stansbury Haydon

F. Stansbury Haydon (1907-1992) taught at the University of Maine and at the Johns Hopkins University and served as chief of staff of the ROTC at Yale University. During World War II, he fought with the Maryland National Guard in the North African and Italian campaigns and was decorated with the Legion of Honor and the OBE by the British government. His books include Combat Lessons of the North African Campaign and The Italian Campaign in World War II.
