Kiera Chan, MPH, is a PhD student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her research studies the intersection of patient-centered care and health disparities, and her work has been featured in scientific publications on women’s health and in a TEDx Talk. She has worked previously with several nonprofits, including Days for Girls International, CARE International, and the International Association for Premenstrual Disorders. She is committed to global health through community work, advocacy, and research.
