Meet Numan Bartley

Numan V. Bartley is E. Merton Coulter Professor of History emeritus at the University of Georgia. He is the author of The Rise of Massive Resistance: Race and Politics in the South during the 1950s. Hugh D. Graham was dean of the Division of Social Sciences at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
