William Breichner joined the Johns Hopkins University Press in October 1995 as Journals Production Manager. His responsibilities grew to include management of production for the nascent Project MUSE. 33 6 He was named Interim Journals and Project MUSE Manager and then Journals Publisher. He and the journals division staff work with nearly 100 journals and numerous professional societies to provide print and electronic production, marketing, distribution, and membership services. Their goal is to provide superior publishing services to editors and associations. Earlier he began his publishing career in customer service and sales at University Park Press. Then, he was an account manager at the Sheridan Press. He graduated from Loyola College in Maryland with a degree in English/Writing.
