From the Archives: National Poetry Month Reading List

April is National Poetry Month, and the Hopkins Press journals offer a bounty of verse.

We publish many literary journals, a number of which are specifically devoted to the study of poets and their poetry.

We recently acquired Victorian Poetry, and are excited to be working with the editors to produce their first issue with Hopkins Press.

Many of our journals feature poetry as a regular feature including The Hopkins Review, Callaloo, The Sewanee Review, African American Review, and The Yale Review (winner of a 2024 National Magazine Award)

And, of course we have several journals devoted to studying the work of singular poets, including: Dante Studies, The Emily Dickinson Journal, Poe Studies: History, Theory, Interpretation and The Wallace Stevens Journal

For this month, we handpicked some recent poetic highlights from recent issues. The full list follows below — read for free thru 30 April 2024!
