National Recovery Month is a national observance held every September to educate Americans that substance use treatment and mental health services can enable those with mental and substance use disorders to live healthy and rewarding lives. Johns Hopkins University press publishes a wealth of scholarly research on the subjects of mental health and substance use disorders. This month, we have put together a list of journal articles covering a wide range of addiction, treatment, and recovery topics, all freely available through September.
