Marlee Brooks assists Robin Coleman, who acquires in public health and health policy, and Suzanne Staszak-Silva, who acquires in health and wellness.
Marlee earned her bachelor’s degree in documentary film studies and production from Ithaca College. Although she didn’t pursue a career in film, she continues to participate in the art of storytelling through her work in publishing. Before joining JHUP, she spent three years at a small children’s publisher in Washington, DC—Platypus Media and its imprint, Science Naturally—where she served as editor and outreach coordinator. She also attended the Columbia Publishing Course during the summer of 2022.
