Reviews
Darwin's Descendants is the antidote to decades of trench warfare between evolutionists and social scientists. Horwitz shows, with clarity and fairness, that the question was never nature versus nurture—but which force prevails when, and why. Essential reading for anyone who cares about human behavior.
Zealots on both sides of the nature/nurture debate will both hate this book. Too bad for them. A beautifully written and highly intelligent analysis of an enormously complex problem.
