The Wall Street Journal ran a photo series from Luis Chiappe and Meng Qingjin’s Birds of Stone (HC: 9781421420240; $80.00). Natural History Magazine will also feature a 6-page cover story/excerpt from the book in its November issue.

The Mediterranean World (HC: 9781421419015; $34.95) by Monique O’Connell and Eric Dursteler was reviewed by The New York Review of Books.
Adventures of a Female Medical Detective (HC: 9781421419992; $24.95) by Mary Guinan with Anne Mather was reviewed by The Washington Post. Dr. Guinan is also featured in the new Women of Hopkins exhibit. The book has previously received coverage in Nature, Times Higher Education, and NPR’s All Things Considered.
The Chronicle of Higher Education featured Jon McGee’s Breakpoint in a new ‘What I’m Reading’ segment.
Interviews with The Sting of the Wild (HC: 9781421419282; $24.95) author Justin Schmidt appeared on the Leonard Lopate Show, Big Picture Science, HGTV’s DIY Network, Live Wire Radio (alongside Penn Jillette of Penn&Teller), The New York Post (twice), Australia’s ABC Radio, the Steve Fast Show, and The Entomology Society of America’s blog. Other recent coverage for the book includes New York Times Magazine, Jimmy Kimmel LIVE, National Geographic, The Guardian, Science Friday, BBC Earth, and Atlas Obscura.
Ellen Silbergeld was on Sirius XM Satellite Radio’s “Tell Me Everything” with John Fugelsang on October 10th talking about Chickenizing Farms & Food (HC: 9781421420301; $26.95). The book was also featured on the popular FoodPolitics blog and featured in Times Higher Education’s “New & Noteworthy” section.
