Matt McAdam who joined the Press in 2009, acquires books in history of science, technology, and medicine and in literary and ancient studies. He seeks projects for scholars, students, and general readers from these fields. Within history of science, technology, and medicine, he is especially interested in projects that speak to adjacent areas like environmental history, food and animal studies, public health, and bioethics. He works with many first-time authors and is happy to hear from writers at all stages of their projects, from nascent idea to complete manuscript.
