Traditio is an international journal, published annually, and dedicated to the study of late antique and medieval history, thought, and religion. Traditio is an international journal, published annually, and dedicated to the study of late antique and medieval history, thought, and religion. The journal publishes research articles, short notes, critical editions of texts, translations with commentary, and reference instruments, such as catalogues of unpublished manuscripts and library inventories. Submissions in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish are accepted. Articles have treated classical reception, history, literature, patristics, philology, philosophy, Renaissance humanism, theology, and the history of art. The journal covers the period of the long Middle Ages, from late antiquity to the early sixteenth century.
